This is your dream business intelligence position coming true. Your technical background enables you to take decisions about our solutions and help build better standards for future solutions altogether. With your colleagues you will be discussing the needs of the business, chip in your own ideas, get a hold on the needed data, build data loads and reflect all the work in a cool report in the end. Putting all those steps into action is your bread and butter so that the data warehouse purrs like a kitten.
As the business intelligence team is the number one source of truth we are always looking to lend a helping hand in supporting our other departments. We are currently at a stage where most of our product pricing is done manually. So we are planning on automating and improving the pricing process by adding additional data source. You would be working very closely with our sales team and support them with your BI knowledge.
Qualifications
We expect you to have at least three years of working experience while working on DWH projects so you have seen all the good and the bad stuff and are able to build efficient solutions. You are used to think in established DWH architectures and models and understand that the success of our data users is your own success as well.
Being open minded to new technologies and eager to learn new tools is a must. You make pragmatic decisions and enjoy the responsibility for what you do.
In a nutshell:
- At least three years of experience in BI projects
- You love to get things done and have an inner drive to tackle new challenges
- Ideally you know enough of C#, VB or similar to use this knowledge while implementing your jobs to make them more efficient
- You are interested in Cloud Computing Software like Azure and are open to working with Microsoft BI
