What you’ll do:
- Design, implement and maintain data infrastructure, including the Hadoop ecosystem, import / export tools to external publishers like Google, and related systems.
- Support data-driven decision making by ensuring that data and metrics are accurate, on time and reliable.
- Continuously improve our algorithms and approaches. On this note, we encourage thinking outside the box and want our developers to challenge the status quo.
- Ensure the solutions being defined are reusable and follow good design patterns and architecture principles.
- Collaborate with and provide technical consultation to data scientists and analysts on how to store, retrieve and transform data.
What you’ll definitely need:
- Experience in a similar role, working with big data architecture.
- Good knowledge of SQL and Python or R (Hadoop would be a plus).
- An interest to collaborate with data scientists to build and maintain machine learning models.
- A university degree (bachelor or master) in Computer Science or similar.
- To be an analytical genius with the ability to handle and draw insights from large amounts of data.
- To be comfortable communicating in English (our company language).
