What is this about?
To help us grow and scale new markets, we are looking for a Data Scientist, who will be responsible for leveraging the vast amount of data within and outside the organisation to automate and improve the decision making process at Clark.
What you will be doing
- Reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence and working closely with the Product team to iteratively create data science roadmap, assess use cases for feasibility and business impacts and implement the use cases.
- Collaborating with our BI analysts to choose, build, evaluate and tune machine learning models to support automatic decision-making processes at Clark in all areas: marketing, product, sales, finance, etc.
- Linking up and Aligning with the Architecture team to build technically sound and well-maintained data pipelines to constantly enrich, prepare and analyze data, as well as to deploy machine learning models to production environments.
Who you are
- An analytical thinker with exceptional conceptual skills, and the ability to make your evaluations transparent, not only to your team but also to non-technical audiences.
- A fast Learner and are always eager to learn new domains and technologies
- A fluent communicator: You feel confident and comfortable when explaining a complex problem to your audience in English. German language is a big plus!.
What you ideally have
- You have a Masters degree or a PhD in computer science, Mathematics, Economics or other quantitative fields.
- You have at Least 5 years of experience in building machine learning models ”‘in the wild”, including their deployment in enterprise production systems to drive real business impacts.
- You have experience in applying machine learning and data science algorithms to solve real-life business problems and even better if you also have experience in recommender systems, text analytics, sentiment analysis and voice recognition.
- You are confident in your knowledge of big data platforms & tools such as apache spark and databricks.
- Experience in software development and best practices in a development team (e.g testing, CI/CD Code reviews) rounds up your profile.
