The National Research Data Infrastructure for Engineering (NFDI4Ing) consortium brings together all engineering research communities and promotes the management of their research data. Thus, research data are made available in a sustainable way according to the FAIR principles under free licenses in a citable form. Behind NFDI4Ing are eight university and three non-university research institutions, including the TIB - Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology. Leading engineering scientists work in an open, dynamic and high-performance team with experienced infrastructure providers. In collaboration with Technische Universität Darmstadt, RWTH Aachen and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), TIB manages the development of RDM base services for engineering sub-disciplines and methods. This includes the development and implementation of a Terminology Service which will establish a comprehensive, integrated Internet of FAIR Data and Services through semantic representation, terminology-based interoperability, and accessibility and interlinking of research data.
