For 60% of customers, good prices are the reason for choosing an online retailer. As a Data Specialist within Zalando’s Competitive Pricing team, you will have a direct and significant impact on our customers, revenues and profits, by making sure our offers across all markets and brands are attractively positioned. As part of our cross-functional agile team consisting of engineers and data scientists, you will automate pricing decisions based on our vast amount of crawled data as well as improve and develop pricing algorithms. In particular, you will further develop live competitive pricing algorithms, and support pricing decisions that can be automated based on analyses you run on large amount of data in Python and/or other statistical tools.

The Pricing and Forecasting engineering team uses cutting edge technology, data science and machine learning, to forecast demand and pricing with a focus on business and customer experience. Partnerships happen with all key engineering and product teams, business and customer experience teams.
