The Role
Zattoo is the leading player in the TV-as-a-Service space in Europe serving several million TV users and dozens of B2B customers helping them watch what they want, where they want, when they want. For our B2B Engineering team we are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who is keen on gaining an in-depth understanding of the technical landscape of Zattoo. Your focus will be the Bridge, an interface between Zattoo and our customers that provides crucial tools for managing an ever growing multi tenant environment within our company.
As the ideal candidate you combine the ability to solve problems independently with flexibility and keen perception. Strong coding and communication skills are equally important prerequisites for this role. You like to dive deep into existing systems and have an eye for the important parts in complex environments. You like to work in agile teams (we’re using Scrum) and are a fan of discussing problems and solutions with your peers.
What you’ll do
- Develop web based tools to assist and strengthen our B2B partners in their daily business
- Collaborate closely with a team of developers, designers, product owners and QA engineers
- Automate manual tasks and make the lives of Zattooies and our B2B customers easier
- Obtain a deep understanding of the Zattoo ecosystem and actively evolve the product
- Research and develop APIs to give internal and external parties powerful access to Zattoo services
- Communicate with our backend and app teams on changes or improvements for our B2B projects
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years experience as a Full-Stack Engineer
- Excellent backend and frontend development skills in ReactJS (or similar JavaScript frameworks) and Ruby/Rails
- Desire to be engaged in different platform teams and participate on multiple code bases
- Solid experience with web based Admin-UIs, SaaS tools or data visualisation
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on sharing ideas and tackling challenges as a team
- Strong verbal and written English language skills
- Bonus: Professional or hobbyist experience with Golang or Python
- Bonus: Passion for automation
