At Ultra Tendency you would:
- Work in our office in Berlin/Magdeburg and on-site at our customer’s offices
- Make Big Data useful (build program code, test and deploy to various environments, design and optimize data processing algorithms for our customers)
- Develop outstanding Big Data application following the latest trends and methodologies
- Be a role model and strong leader for your team and oversee the big picture
- Prioritize tasks efficiently, evaluating and balancing the needs of all stakeholders
Ideally you have:
- Strong experience in developing software using Python, Scala or a comparable language
- Proven experience with data ingestion, analysis, integration, and design of Big Data applications using Apache open-source technologies
- Profound knowledge about with data engineering technology, e.g. Kafka, SPARK, HBase, Kubernetes
- Strong background in developing on Linux
- Solid computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures and programming skills in distributed systems)
- Languages: Fluent English and German is a plus
