Promon is a Norwegian cyber-security software company that specializes in securing software applications, with solutions focusing largely on Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP). Promon work with a variety of global clients, counting customers in finance, health and the public sector. Promon’s patented method for proactively detecting and blocking security threats enables protection of applications and data on any potentially unsafe or unprotected device in any location.

Your contribution to our success story:
- Identify threats to our products and make suggestions on how to improve them
- Monitor different sources for new potential threats to our products (attack tools, malware, etc.)
- Analyze these potential threats, document how they work and determine if they can be used to bypass security features of our products
- Document tests that can be used by QA to verify that our products mitigate these threats
- Continuously monitor the developments of the threats to make sure that we are aware of improvements that could pose new threads to our products
- Perform penetration tests on our products and on third party apps
What you bring with you:
- Relevant Masters degree in Information Security or the equivalent in working experience
- Experienced in conducting penetration testing on apps
- Knowledge about how to add functionalities, analyse threats on apps
- Ideally the ability to code, preferably in C/C++
- Ability to monitor and analyze complex threats and issues to apps and our products
- A genuine interest in security and a hands on mentality
- Fluency in our company language - English
