We’re currently looking for a (Senior) BI Analyst (f/m/d) to join our foodpanda Germany team. The position is a leader who assists the business finding new opportunities and implementing an effective strategy based on data insights.In this role you’ll be responsible to deliver data tooling, analysis and reporting dashboards to support a wide range of decisions - from business to operational.
What’s on the menu for you:
You will help shape the foodpanda Germany BI team organisation, in one of the fastest growing business units within Delivery Hero.
Rapidly construct, and iterate on dashboards and other visualisation tools
Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to communicate your contributions (in written, verbal and presentation form)
Support our Global Data Engineers in developing our data warehouse infrastructure on Amazon Redshift & Google BigQuery
Creatively analyse data to generate insights that support business decisions and identify new opportunities
What you can bring to the table:
You have 3-5 years experience as a Data or BI Analyst in fast-paced and dynamic environments
You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject with a proven track record in data - e.g. computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering
Proven track to transform large amounts of complex data into insights by leading the end-to-end creation of intuitive data products
Expert in querying and manipulating data sets using SQL and Python and visualisation tools like Tableau, Looker (or similar tools)
Comfort with ambiguity and translating abstract business questions into actionable insights and high impact data products
Experience in business units such as Commercial / Sales or Retail / Warehousing is a plus
You are a self-starter who thrives under a high level of autonomy
You are a team player and focus on bringing the best out of your team
Experience with big data tools (e.g. Redshift, BigQuery)
Excellent English communication skills
