Senior Business Analyst - Energy & Commodities (ETRM / CTRM Guru)

As a Senior Business Analyst you have a solid track record managing complex programs delivering large scale ETRM implementations, accompanied with your excellent interpersonal skills that help you to manage and resolve competing views. As a Sr. Technical Architect – Energy & Commodities at Publicis.Sapient your role will be of a Package Specialist is the Subject Matter Expert on relevant package (Endur, Solar, Allegro) and bring in-depth development and design expertise to deliver complex solutions on that package. You will be supporting a large scale implementation or multiple small or mid-size engagements; You will mentor manager business analysts working in your team. You will also provide thought leadership outside project and company like supporting sales, incubating Publicis Sapient capabilities on new package features, knowledge sharing, participating in events and writing whitepapers.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs analysis and business case development, applying new conceptual frameworks and analytical approaches
- Ensures consistency in architecture design across several projects in an account
- Responsible for design and architecture of the bigger, complex, ambiguous and challenging projects
- Works with one or more design teams and clients to elicit functional and non-functional requirements, identify and design dependencies with other systems in enterprise
- Develop and present solutions and recommendations based on relevant data and information
- Responsible for high quality delivery solutions across several projects in an account. This includes defining quality and delivery metrics for an account, establishing SLA’s and ensuring compliance in an account
- Actively participate in business development activities, creating strong working relationships with clients
- Be an active participant within a community that provides thought leadership, project support artefacts and analytical concepts for use within the practice
- Be a consulting leader to clients
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in related field
- Significant relevant work experience in a consulting firm or other client-facing role
- Practical industry expertise in the energy & commodities sector (must have)
- I depth understanding of the European energy market with hands on experience in setting up ETRM systems in two or more commodities (Gas, Power, Oil, LNG, Coal)
- Experience in playing lead role on mid to large scale client engagements
- Subject matter expert on one or more of the leading packages (Endur, Allegro, Solarc) (must have)
- Demonstrable experience in scoping, estimation and structuring of a mid-sized program (10-15 FTE)
- Experience in business modelling, creating solution architecture, design for scalability performance
- Experience in process improvement, comparative analysis and change management projects using formalized tools and methodologies
- Strong understanding of and ability to create relevant business modelling and subsequent business cases
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience of managing time, establishing priorities and meeting goals
- Openness to travel and work at client offices.
- Very good spoken and written English skills, German is a plus
