What’s on the menu?
- Develop new data products from conception to operationalization to help optimizing our logistics processes and improving the experience for our customers.
- Scale up your algorithm to provide business value in dozens of countries globally supporting a fleet of tens of thousands of couriers
- Help defining data needs to further improve existing projects, to support data engineering and tech teams in planning their roadmap.
- Work with structured and semi-structured data from different data sources (BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Spark and many more).
- Contribute and make an impact in a global, fast-moving tech organization.
What do you bring to the table?
- You have experience applying methods from machine learning and statistics to real-world datasets.
- You can write maintainable code that follows best practices in software engineering.
- You know how to make your code run in a container and are enthusiastic about running it in modern infrastructure environments like Kubernetes.
- Fluency in Python and familiarity with its scientific stack such as numpy, pandas, scikit learn, matplotlib.
- You know how to work with Big Data platforms such as Spark/Hadoop and know how to write a SQL query to pull the data you need.
- Fluency in English.
