FELFEL’s technology team, of 7 engineers, has built the heart of FELFEL’s product and is responsible for the company’s success as a leading European foodtech company. The team of seven developers consists of Front-End Developers, Back-End Developers, Data Scientists, and a Mobile Developer.

As a team member of the technology team, you will work very directly with our founders, the CTO, our other teams (product, growth, sales, support, etc.) to improve the experience for our end-customers eating at work every day, as well as for our internal users of our technology.

YOUR ROLE:

• Develop advanced forecasting models for demand prediction to improve our food waste and stocking levels
• Develop stocking algorithms to effectively re-stock our fridges daily while optimizing our logistics process
• Work with our python developers to ensure performance of the models and imbed them in our existing analytics infrastructure

WHO YOU ARE:

• You are an experienced data scientist with multiple years of experience using machine learning for predictions problems, specifically in demand forecasting
• You have experience in benchmarking the performance of different prediction models and combining them for best-of models
• You can connect the dots between advanced statistics and real world business sense
• You always have performance top of mind when building computation models
• You love Python
• You possess an advanced degree in Mathematics and/or Computer Science
• You thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and experts
