We are looking for the best Deep Learning & Computer Vision R&D Expert to join our well-funded and fast growing startup working on AI driven visual recognition software on embedded and edge devices. You will be responsible for designing and implementing Deep Learning models fitted to the specific use-cases we work on as part of a growing team of Deep Learning experts with 5+ years experience each, half of which hold a PhD in the field. Aside from developing novel DL based solutions we are putting a strong focus on shrinking their memory and runtime footprint enough to run them efficiently on embedded SoCs and mobile devices.
What you will be working on
Implement and train neural networks in close collaboration with our experienced DL team (20+ years of joint experience)
Design the APIs and architecture that our DL models live in
Implement your work in production grade code
Push the boundaries of neural network design for edge and embedded devices
We support publications when it relates to our work
What you need to have
At least 2-3 years of work experience or a PhD in relevant topics
Excellent understanding of the fundamentals of Machine Learning
Experience in Python3
Experience with Deep Learning frameworks as Tensorflow or Pytorch
Ability to profile, optimize, and improve existing code
Ability to write clean, tested and maintainable production-level code
Motivated to work in a research and prototyping environment, with potential move to production in mind
Fundamental-level proficiency in Linux environment
Self-motivated, creative problem solver and team player
Having fun working in an ambitious, curious, open and friendly team
Optional (Nice-to-haves but not required)
Experience in Computer Vision
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
Experience implementing mobile applications or web services
Experience in cloud computing
Experience in C++
