We are searching for an engaged and technical person who is interested in implementing tools and automations for Infineon’s software development community. As IT Business Analyst for Software Engineering KPIs you will have key responsibility in important software development projects and initiatives. You will implement dashboards and reports that guide our SW development projects to quality and efficiency.

In your new role you will:
- Provide solutions and improvements for dashboards and reports that measure productivity and quality of software development
- Understand your clients’ needs and what makes them successful and effective in delivering Infineon software products and translate those insights into meaningful monitoring and reporting solutions.
- Take responsibility for developing a common software development platform and foster synergies in practice & tooling. You will build reusable assets for our Infineon SW development toolchain, user documentation and training material. Furthermore, you will deduce suitable application roadmaps and requirements to IT together with key stakeholders and business users.
- Define software quality criteria and development processes for Infineon tools and anchor them in the organization - you will consult your stakeholders on best practices, export control standards and IP protection standards
- Act as application owner for systems in the SW development toolchain we implement and operate for our Infineon R&D community. You will define, manage and support users of the application and ensure that it runs with relevant functionality and at sufficient performance. You will have the chance to scout for new trends and transform them into solutions.
In order to establish a successful relationship with your internal customers, you listen actively and consider their points of view, thoughts and ideas. As a team player, you collaborate beyond borders and appreciate the contribution of others.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A sound Software Engineering and IT technical skillset based on a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Software Development, Continuous Integration and agile development
- Experience with standard tools for configuration management, source code quality metrics and test automation (e.g. Git, BitBucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, ClearCase)
- Know-how in database fundamentals, Web Services and programming languages
- Hands-on experience with implementing Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions with products like Tableau
- Excellent communication skills in English - German would be a plus
We will sure provide you with all the specific knowledge you need. However, it is helpful to have:
- Basic knowledge in embedded software and firmware development processes and tools
- Basic experience in writing clean, readable source code and applying object-oriented and script programming
- Experience in software development lifecycle, application management lifecycle and project management
