Your Tasks
- You will develop and operationalize machine learning models in a balanced team of software engineers, data engineers, designers and product managers
- You will help to identify, shape and implement data-driven product features
- You will participate at meetups, conferences and the research community and apply what you’ve learned back at your daily work
- You will take an active part in building up the newly created machine learning/data science team
Your Profile
- A scientific education in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, machine learning or similar
- Previous work experience in data science, machine learning or similar
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R or Scala and SQL
- Experience with the PyData stack (pandas, scikit-learn, keras and many more)
- Experience with the command line, shell scripting and version control (Git)
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of machine learning and statistics
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop and Flink), deep learning algorithms (feed-forward, CNNs, RNNs) and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud)
- Experience with modern agile software development practices like test-driven development, pair programming, CI/CD etc.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English, German skills is of advantage
