Job Overview
As a Software Architect focused on handling financial market data you will be responsible for defining a componentized, data-driven architecture for our data deliveries. You will be responsible for designing a set of reusable “plug and play” components that can be shared across multiple ETL pipelines to standardize components and accelerate the delivery. As an Architect, you will be assisting the Product Owners in defining priorities and provide technical leadership to the development teams.
Your Tasks
- Providing technical leadership to our software development team handling ETL processes and cross-asset financial market data
- Being responsible and manage strategic quantitative financial data projects for the development of the business unit in support of the team lead
- Designing and defining reusable components for modelling cross-asset financial market data on a large scale
- Breaking down the existing elements and the solution into sets of reusable, loosely coupled components
- Ensuring alignment between your domain and other architecture domains
Your Profile
- Academic degree in computer science or related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience and first experience in a technical leadership role
- Proven experience within the financial software architecture domain with specific focus on data integration, data provisioning and data management
- Expertise in designing data-driven solutions with a quantitative-financial background for calculating derived market data
- Experience with Python and SQL
- Ability to quickly acquire new technical skills
- Strong technical mentoring skills
- Full working proficiency in English
