As a BI Engineer at Zalando Media Solutions within the Reporting and Data Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for creating and improving engaging reporting solutions, together with our Product Managers.

Machine learning, high-level database modeling, metrics definition, trend analysis and report generation are crucial to our business. We are Zalandos ad-technology forge and an integral contributor to Zalando Media Solutions.

You Are Skilled
Experience. Solid experience with OLAP analysis and tools (such as Microstrategy, GoodData, Eclipse BIRT, Tableau, Crystal Report, Pentaho). Experience in ETL/DWH and the relational Data Bases RDBMS (e.g. MySQL, PostgresDB, Oracle, SQL Server) or MPP (e.g. Teradata, Redshift, Vertica) are beneficial. Another plus is knowledge and understanding of the online advertising industry / eCommerce.
Big Data. Analyze advertising and eCommerce data. Demonstrate expertise and desire to work hands-on in analyzing and modeling large data sets. Design ETL processes, refine DWH architectures, build reportings and visualizations primarily in GoodData.
Ownership. Develop expertise in understanding our business. Own solutions that empower other teams and our clients to perform and enable profound analysis to allow data-driven Management decisions.
