Are you looking for a greenfield opportunity to build a cutting-edge data infrastructure (mostly) from scratch? We are ramping up our data infrastructure team for all of Zalon’s machine learning, analytics and business needs.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
- Design and expand our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams
- Assemble and Data Tiering of large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements
- Support our Data Scientists by preparing easily consumable data sets to let them focus on Data Science instead of data cleansing and transformation as well as bringing their products into production
- Contribute in developing Zalon’s overall technical capabilities by working one-on-one with your data scientists and engineers
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Comprehensive +5 years engineering background including profound knowledge in several programming languages (Scala/Python/JAVA/ SQL)
- Experience in public cloud data infrastructure, ideal would be AWS (redshift, kubernetes, S3, hadoop/map-reduce, spark)
- Background of growing and managing a data warehouse for a 30+ people company
- Generalist with good tech stack overview, eg. knowledge not limited to one very particular tech stack
