As part of our Business Intelligence Team you will support us in developing and optimizing our pricing algorithm in times of sales campaigns & seasonal price reductions. Every day, millions of people all over Europe enjoy shopping at our online shop & enjoy getting inspiration for brand new styles – even better if there’s a nice sale campaign running!
Our goal is to determine the most intelligent price based on various variables and business models. You will enable the company to take data-driven decisions by optimizing our algorithm day by day!

Challenges the team will be working on:
- Development of machine learning pipelines dealing with sales forecasting and price reductions
- Continuous optimization and monitoring of the model quality
What you will do
- Build complex & high scalable machine learning solutions in cooperation with the Product Lead as well as the Business Intelligence Team
- Draft architectural decisions and ensure reliable and state-of-the-art products
- Prototype new approaches and production solutions at scale for millions of active users
- Evaluate the models’ goodness and steadily set the bar higher for model quality
- Lead a world-class, inspiring team of engineers and data scientists – collaborate with the product site to drive new models and features
- Work within a dynamic & international environment with an agile working culture using methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban
Who you are
- Proficiency in developing highly-scalable machine learning products
- Deep understanding of available cloud services & building infrastructure in the cloud (AWS or Google Cloud)
- Good experience with Python data analytics stack (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn)
- Experience with at least one ML framework (preferably Tensor Flow)
- Ability to write well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the codebase of yourself and the team in check
- Strong and pragmatic personality to work in a fast-moving start-up
- Deep understanding of technology and eCommerce, business processes and functional dependencies
- Fluent English skills
