We are looking for Bioinformatician to join in the R & D bioinformatics team in Berlin. You will be responsible for developing new bioinformatics pipelines for SARS-CoV-2 and improving current algorithms.
Your tasks will be:
Planning and developing bioinformatic tool chains and pipeline for SARS-CoV-2Processing and analyze sequencing data and investigate mutations of SARS-CoV-2 genomes to explore virus spread and variants circulating in EuropeMaintenance of end-user software and web applicationsClose collaboration with NGS Lab and medical team; pro-actively driving further improvement to reach targetsAssist in the standardization and management of SOPs for the R & D bioinformatics teamYou have the following skills and qualifications:

The newly founded Advanced Analytics department is tasked to tame the data generated within the Covestro group, utilizing machine learning and artificial intelligence for solving data use cases and providing expert advise on all these topics.

Das Analyse-Team der SPD erstellt laufend Analysen des Datenbestands der SPD, um strategische Entscheidungen zu informieren und die Allokation von Ressourcen im Straßen- und im Onlinecampaigning zu optimieren.
Der Data-Scientist*ist in jeden Schritt der Datenerfassung und des Analyseprozesses involviert. Sie erstellen Vorhersagemodelle für unterschiedliche Aktivitätsbereiche der Partei und arbeiten Daten so auf, dass andere Fachbereiche informierte Entscheidungen treffen können.
