As a Google Cloud Integration Engineer you are helping Zalando teams to easily access, process, and work with data by taking care of Google Cloud data services with an initial focus on BigQuery integration with other data services of Zalando. You are responsible for the automation of role and permissions management, as well as further automation with existing Data Lake and Streaming products developed inside Zalando (e.g. using Python). You are a part of a cross-functional, high performing team, building technologies that connect every part of the fashion industry.
We’re looking for a talented Python Engineer to help us improve our recommendation platform. You will be part of an international team that operates a recommendation engine which processes more than a billion of requests per month with a single-digit average latency and develops distributed systems that learn and recommend based on billions of events per day in real-time. You will work closely with our data engineers and ML scientists to implement, evaluate and improve algorithms.
